Membership Types

Full Membership:

• Must be a year-round resident of Montgomery County
  
• Must be on duty a minimum of 40 hours per month (8 hours per week on a duty group, plus 8 hours additional time throughout month)

Associate Membership:

• Available to run rescue calls, but are unable to fulfill the time requirements of Full Members, or live outside of Montgomery County.
  
• No voting rights and not eligible for elected office
  
• Must be on duty a minimum of 24 hours per month (4 hours per week on a duty group, plus 8 hours additional time throughout month)

Student Membership:

• For full-time students that cannot commit to year-round service.
  
• Required to be on duty a minimum of 40 hours per month (8 hours per week on a duty group, plus 8 hours additional time throughout month)
  
• Excused from duty during the university scheduled summer and winter breaks.
  
• Must be 18 yrs of age and enrolled in college/university.
  
• No voting rights and not eligible for elected office
